As we move through a powerful phase of the astrological timeline in we find ourselves collectively under the influence of Saturn transiting the transformative constellation of Uttara Bhaadra Pada (the stars of foundations, structures and support) deep within the waters of Pisces.

In Uttara Bhaadra Pada, Saturn, the great teacher, gazes toward the foundations upon which our lives are built, often seen as our beliefs, our inner and outer structures, our commitments, the footprints we leave behind, and most importantly, our faith.

For many, this may feel like a quiet inner time of testing, depending on where this placement occurs in your unique Astrological chart.

You may notice:

  • Realignment in areas that once felt steady
  • A deeper introspection about purpose and truth

This is Saturn’s way to bring philosophical concepts into harmony with an ever-evolving practical reality, through questioning and contemplation.

The stars of Uttara Bhaadra ask: what is truly stable within you?

We are invited to strengthen, not abandon our inner foundations. If faith feels tested, this is not the time to let go of faith. Instead, it is perhaps the time to hold on more deeply than before. Truly, faith can be viewed as what endures despite the challenge.

There is also a deeper spiritual symbolism guiding us through this time.

In the Puraana texts, it is said that Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance and grace, emerged from the great churning of the cosmic ocean under the stars of Uttara Bhaadra Pada

In much the same way, the time period of Saturn’s transit through these stars carries the message of a deeper, more profound effort that will ultimately bring positive outcomes. This is a time to nurture the root, to strengthen the unseen foundations of aspects of our lives that are deeply important to us. Saturn here asks for patience, maturity, and a willingness to tend carefully to what sustains us over a longer term.

This is also a potent time for mantra sadhana, the practice of chanting or reciting a Mantra with intention and reverence. Even a few minutes of daily repetition can begin to create a quiet but powerful shift within.

May that which has served its purpose transform meaningfully, and may what is true within you become unshakeable.
