On an external level, this particular astrological window of time shows some strong influences especially to financial structures, large institutions that wield power and authority, and the way in which the individual determines their own status or ‘standing’ within a collective group/idea. A larger version of this was experienced last year through a part of 2020.
I often like to go a little deeper in to these events, as their effects are seen and experienced very profoundly on an inner level. In many ancient cultures, the serpent is a symbol of primordial truths that lie hidden, until their time comes to be revealed or unearthed. It is also representative of the raging life-force within the individual that unfolds on physical, mental and spiritual levels.
Therefore, this mini cycle of time (December 2021 to April 2022) related to serpent energy presents an opportunity to work on a deepening of practices. It is an excellent time to nurture ideas, themes, practices, and sadhana that draw from holistic knowledge to enrich the experience of life.
During this time, be open to the search for truth in areas that are more understated or ‘hidden’ to some extent. Surprising insights can come to you about your path ahead. Remember, your own personal energy field is deeply aligned with the ‘Cosmic Mind’ and the doorway to higher intelligence is wide open! We can choose to reach in to those realms and create from there – this is both an individual and collective choice.
‘Serpent energy’ operates in many ways, and on a physical, more tangible level, has also manifested in our world through the often ‘hypnotic’ influences of mass media. It is advised during this kind of a time cycle to be aware of mental energy being drawn in to vortexes of fear that lead us in to instantaneous, triggered responses that are not always based in truth.
